چکیده

This study evaluated the apparent digestibility coefficient of processed duckweed based diets and its effect on carcass composition Oreochromis niloticus.  Blanching sun-drying were employed as processing methods to reduce antinutrients in duckweed meal. The experiment was conducted two outdoor concrete ponds with an area 5 m x 3.5 m (l × b) a depth 1.5 m each, using 27 Hapa nets measuring 1 2 each. Nine iso-proteinous (D -D 9 ) formulated least-cost feed formulation software. Soybean meal replaced by blanched sun-dried at 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% A total 10 fingerlings O. niloticus (7.46 ± 0.06 g) stocked per fed three times day 5% biomass for 24 weeks. Highest protein 92.94% recorded diet containing 75% meal (D 4 while least value 86.86% obtained 5 ). fish gave significantly highest ( P ≤0.05) 60.80% followed D 6  (25% meal) 3 (50% which had similar values 60.07% 60.04%, respectively 44.73% initial protein. dietary coefficients this suggest that all can be used replace soybean without any reduction contents.

The effects of dietary protein levels were investigated on growth, carcass biochemical composition and apparent digestibility coefficient in Caspian trout, Salmo trutta caspius. The present study was carried out in a completely randomized design with five experimental diets containing five different dietary levels of protein: 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55%, and 15 fish per replication of each with an i...

This study was conducted to determine the nutritional (proximate and energy) composition of selected shea nut by-products (SNPs) namely; shea nut meal (SNM, solvent extracted), shea nut cake (SNC, mechanically extracted) and shea nut cake (SNCW, water extracted) and their apparent digestibility coefficient (ADC) by Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus. The ADC was determined using a reference di...
